A fun take on the famous chord progression of I've Got Rhythm, Hopscotch musically evokes images of children (of all ages) hopping, skipping, and jumping down the sidewalk playing their favorite game. Each section has the opportunity to shine as they take their turns on the chalk. Written solos provided for trumpet, tenor sax, piano, and guitar, as well as chord symbols. A 16 bar acapella section fololows the solos with the saxes and brass "trading fours". A full-bodied shout section ends in a lead trumpet flourish and sax section response. Trumpet range to written G, trombone range to F.
