Fender American Pro II Strat Neck, 22 Narrow Tall Frets, 9.5'', Roasted Maple
Additional Photos:
There's no denying the allure of a roasted maple neck. Resistant to humidity shifts and featuring a gorgeous, dark look, they have more sustain and add a unique note to the instrument's voice.
Crafted in the same facility as our U.S.-made instruments, the American Professional II Stratocaster Neck draws from more than sixty years of innovation, inspiration and evolution to meet the demands of today's working player. Our popular Deep ?C? neck now sports smooth rolled fingerboard edges and a ?Super-Natural? satin finish that provides a supremely comfortable feel. Other features include a 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard, bone nut and 22 narrow-tall frets for easy bending.
This replacement neck is for a Fender® or Squier® by Fender guitar.
Because Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. Other installation processes may be required, such as fret work, fitting the neck to the neck pocket, and other instrument setup procedures.

Ok it was time for a fret job, but I didn't want to be without the guitar. Initially I thought I was out of my mind with the cost of this neck. Reluctant to replacing the neck myself it sat for over a year waiting for me to do something with it. The neck came with basic instructions for installing plus I did a pile of youtubing (my new word of the day) and bit the bullet and proceeded to tackle the daunting task. Well, if the darn thing wasn't as simple as plug and play, I literally mean no issues at all, and I no guitar tech. As nervous as I was it really worked out so well. It changed the sound of my instrument and so much for the better IMHO. I like it, I like it a lot. At the end of the day, I'm tickled pink with the end result. Thank you again Long and Mcquade's for being around doing what you do best. Thank you, Fender, for the craftsmanship and the attention to detail. Now I wonder how long the other neck will be waiting to get something done to it. lol
