A highly original, yet stylistically correct and appropriate march, The Basses Are Loaded by Kelly Bennette is a tongue-in-cheek word play on a situation in America's national game of baseball. As might be expected, the low instruments of the band---particularly the tubas---have much of the melodic material, making this a refreshing change in programming.
