I purchased the Hercules 2 tier keyboard stand from Long & McQuade to hold my 88 key piano and 61 key Hammond XK-1C organ. The stand is very sturdy and holds the keyboards steady while in use, plus it versatile and allows quick and easy height and 2nd tier angle adjustments. It also tears down and sets up quick and easy as well. I'm very satisfied with the stand.

Unsuitable for weighted keys, even on the lower level. The telescoping height-adjusting supports on each side, while made of a substantial rectangular tube, is loose enough in the base that even playing with a light touch causes the entire assembly to vibrate from side to side by about a quarter inch.
There's no cross-member on those supports, and the height adjustment is a quick release tab, not a screw, which seems to be why there's so much play in the assembly.
May be okay for stage use if the quick assembly is important, but? that vibration is gross.

Worth the investment. It's strong, sturdy and convenient for gigging - you'll never want to go back to an X style stand ever again.

This thing is made out of monster bones! Recommended to me by my sales rep at L&M, and I'm glad I picked it up. Easy setup/tear down. Great features that you don't think about until you're on stage, and you'll think to your self "glad I got this".
