Featuring a sturdy, resilient frame constructed with materials less than one-third the weight of a traditional hardshell case, the AeroCase includes several integrated storage pockets and a soft interior lining to cradle your guitar. This case is fitted for Taylor Grand Auditorium and Dreadnought models ending in "4" or "0", respectively.

Answer: The Aerocase's weight is12 lbs. and the standard hardshell Taylor case is 23 lbs.

Pretty much the same protection as a Taylor hard shell case (as long as you don’t stand on it) for less money. Quite well made, burgundy plush interior, chocolate exterior with Taylor embossed logo. Most likely weatherproof. No interior pocket, but roomy exterior pocket. If you’re getting older, like me, it’s also half the weight of a HSC.
