I love love love this Rumble Bass Amp 1000%. I thought hard weather I should have went with an Ampeg, but both are 100 watts, 8 ohms, distortion adjustments,12 inch Emenince woofer., solid state. I like the size of Fendrr's cabinet, it is a few lbs lighter and sounds similar. I also have a Rumble 40 in my bedroom, but the 100 is only $140 more. With Long Maquade's Monster Days (providing 6 mths 0^) and Femdeb's 12 months 0% in Ahgust, the Fender was easy to buy. Thank you Long McQuade!!!!!

Bought this amp and used it at a large gig with a band I play with. Rented a short scale Ibanez bass as my acoustic bass was ordered but did not arrive in time for the gig. Both played exceptionally well. Sound was best yet and surprised with the playability and sound of the “ little “ bass guitar. Many good comments on overall sound.

Lite weight and sounds great with my Fender Jazz Bass. Tried my guitar and pedal board. This sounds good too! Love using it in my studio - Handy inputs and outputs versatility. I'm able to get a number of different sounds even before my pedal board starts rocking through it - just saying I am pleasantly impressed.

I started out with the Rumble 40 about 4 years ago, for some time it was my main Amplifier since I plugged directly in our sound system. Once we started getting gigs I knew I needed something more powerful so I went and bought a Rumble 210 cab match with the Rumble 800Head, what a beast!!! I started playing with a second band and didn’t want to travel the cab back and forth so needless to say I knew exactly which amplifier to get, the Rumble 100. With this band it’s small to medium size gigs so I got plenty of power, if not I’m covered. By now you all know they weigh nothing so I don’t need to say more, just felt like sharing my little Rumble story. 🙂

This amp has exceeded my expectations for something so lightweight, compact and relatively low power output. The ease of navigation and simple EQ makes for great tone shaping. Adding the three tone presets to further add to your tone is also a plus. Highly recommend for practicing and smaller gigs!

Love this Amp. I had a Pevey Amp previously. It was heavy. When I ordered it for curbside and went to pick it up. I saw that the box was big and I thought, "this is going to weigh a Ton!" It didn't. I was very light. I guess with new technology and power supplies are lighter than 30 years ago. That is how old Pevey Amp was. I brought it home and plugged it in. The nature sound of this amp was incredible! I didn't even use the effect and it sounded amazing. I am not a big overdrive Bass player but it is a great feature to have I guess. The Vintage button along with the Gain plus having flat-wound strings made my Bass sound amazing. This amp is so great sounding that you don't even need a Compression Effects Pedal! I highly recommend this amp. It is light, has many build-in effects, Aux input to play along with whatever platform (iPod, MP3 player, etc), and headphone jack.

Bought a Rumble 100 (used, previous rental unit) and I couldn't be happier. I was already prepared to pay full price for a brand new amp but luckily this was part of the North York's location sale. It's got lots of bottom end in the sound, my first adjustment was to turn the bass pod down to 10 o clock. 9 o clock if I had the Vintage selector engaged. In Fact, I kinda like the vintage and bright switch both engaged at the same time. I can roll off some of the unwanted highs with my tone knob on my guitar, mostly playing on the neck pickup. The overdrive is a nice feature and you can really play around with the drive/level dials to get your sweet spot. I'm glad I sprung for the 100, I almost bought a new Rumble 40 and I'm sure it wouldn't have been loud enough for me to gig with unless it was with acoustic players in a small venue.

Great amp. Good for the money and very powerful. I have a 30W Eden (also a great amp) and it was definitely not powerful enough to play with a drum, so I got something stronger.

I am a senior who only recently took up the bass guitar. As a participant in a bi-weekly bass practice group, I encountered a wide variety of amplifiers ranging from the size of portable radios to vintage units weighing easily in excess of 60 pounds. Many of the participants are retirees and have no alternative but to use a dolly to transport their behemoths in and out of the practice facility. As a chap who has had four back surgeries a heavy amp on a dolly is not an option for me. I thought for practical reasons I would have to limit myself to a 15 or 25 watt practice amp. But then someone brought a Rumble 100 to a jam session. It looked rather large but when I lifted it gingerly I was delighted to discover it came in at just over 20 pounds - a weight that is manageable even for a crocked up old feller like me !! I purchased one shortly thereafter and am completely satisfied with it. I may have been able to make do with a 25 watt amp to learn but eventually would have to graduate to something bigger. The extra investment up front for a unit with some punch was a wise decision.

This V3 version really fits the small venue scene with plenty of power and excellent tonal range. Really thumps when needed with the overdrive circuit . Sounds great with my Fender Jazz V bass. Expecting it to live up to Fender reliability. We will see! Your back will thank you when hauling it around too!

Ridiculous value, best Rumble yet. Bigger, better tones than other 8" or 10" combos, cheaper than comparable 12" models. A little large for a practice amp, but the sound quality more than compensates. Speaker doesn't break up when pushed, even with my 5-string basses. Giggable with a sensible drummer. Useful, flexible 4 band EQ and tone presets, useable, dynamic overdrive circuit. I deducted features points for the post-EQ, speaker-compensated XLR line out, would have preferred a regular DI. Low mid punch is great, reminiscent of a real Bassman, but there's a little boom around the low A. Lining the cab and/or blanking the ports tightens things up nicely.

Picked up this bass amp. after trying out the other amps in the stores ( Traynor, GK) with the Ibanez SR500 bass guitar, this one caught my attention and love right away, good sound, light and so easy to dial in any sound you like, way to go Fender! I also own Mustang 3 V2, all good value and quality

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
