Picked this up because of the online reviews.
Boost mode works. Either of the fuzz modes completely mutes the G B and high E strings no matter how I adjust it.
Acts.more like a killswitch than a fuzz.
Completely unusable.

This pedal has three different modes which provide a very broad palette of possible tones combined with the separate bass and treble tone controls. The first two modes are both fuzzes as one is expecting: the first one is more midrange-y and vintage sounding than the second one, but an undocumented and very cool feature is that at certain control settings, both of these fuzz modes can behave like an octave fuzz. I even prefer this as an octave fuzz to my Prescription Electronics Proctavia. The third mode is that of a boost pedal in which the level control is inactive and the gain control becomes the level control. The uses for this are many - depending on what you boost whether it be the front end of your amp or another distortion pedal, you have a whole other realm of sounds you can conjure. Very suitable for experimentation and extending the capabilities of the pedals you already have. The plastic casing is quite a bit more robust than you might assume, I have had no problems in the dozen years I have used this pedal.

Great pedal if you're on a budget, great control over the volume, fuzz and gain. The 3 modes make it very flexible. The only down side is it's plastic casing, but if you're careful its no problem. At points, it's hard to achieve some clarity, but it's possible. It's also very loud!

Admittedly I am not a dedicated fuzz user. I appreciate the effect, but in most cases I find the effect overbearing in some genres of music. Subtle use of fuzz is more my taste. Having said that, I bought one of these to try using a fuzz pedal again. This pedal can generate oodles of fuzzy tones. It can make your eyes water. Too much for my taste, but I'm sure there are many guitar players who would appreciate the huge gobs of fuzz on tap. Alas, I took it back. It would never be used on my board so best to find it a good home where it would be appreciated.

1, most fuzzes like to be 1st & low signal strength.
2, there's a lot of hard fuzz to learn to tame here. Might not allow for fuzzy chords.
3, an amazing pickup molder for an HSS strat as a boost pedal.
While using 7-10 band EQs to shape PUs into psuedo forms of the other (SC or HB) is an option, the Super Fuzz here can move PUs around the body for more natural tones.
Meaning, can make the HB sound like a neck position rather than try to make the neck SC sound more HB-like.
Can thin a neck or middle SC to be very bridge like rather than try to thin the HB bridge to be SC (even after HB coil splitting).
Sooo great with the middle PU height set low enough so it doesn't overvolt (breakup/compress) at vol 10.
You can have a rich clean Jazz middle PU AND a sustaining bluesy neck PU without single EQ amp.

Fuzz tones are fun on this pedal but I use it for the boost primarily. If you have the boost on you can turn the level and gain completely off and get something pretty special. And there is a two dial EQ. It can do ts9 to very chuggy and thumpy in no time and like I mentioned the fuzz options and intensely fun. Perfect the whole line of these I bet are great I also have the vintage tube od and it just get better and better

I saw this pedal alongside various other more expensive fuzzes like Dallas Arbiter Fuzzface, Zvex Fuzz factory, Boss Fuzz, DOD Carcosa, Big Muff or Proco Rat among others and this actually sounded better!
The controls are very adjustable and put in front of a slightly dirty amp the doom metal sludge just comes flying out. The built in sub bass is awesome.
Just wish they made the pedal out of metal but then again so much for a cheap price. Don't want to stomp on it too hard.

Not as meaty as some but put a boost in front and that will put some hair on it. Pick this up if you're looking for a super affordable fuzz that also gets you the sound of Jus Osborne on Dopethrone era Electric Wizard..

I felt it was a crime no one left a review on this little beastie. It sounds amazing. If you're looking for a new fuzz this is the pedal.
