Answer: This guitar is a 3/4 scale, with a 22" scale length.
There is no listed spec for total length, but it should come in at about 36"
A full size Jazzmaster is 41".

I’m a 25 y/o and normally wouldn’t seek out a smaller guitar but I’m GLAD I did. This is the most comfortable guitar I’ve owned. For reference, I’ve had a Fender MIM telecaster standard, a paranormal cyclone, and an epiphone SG. I currently have a rainsong H-W51000N2 as well. A few things about this guitar that I love:
-the humbuckers are actually impressive. The bridge pup has a nice bite to it. Other pups are nice and offer that warm sound.
-unfinished neck feels great on the hands, fretboard feels great.
-it comes with 9s, and I’ve heard before buying to upgrade to at least 11s due to the short scale of 22.75”. I am going to do this for better tuning stability - although it is doing better than other squiers I’ve owned/played - seems to only be the b and g strings that come out of tune if I’m doing a lot of bends. It stabilized more after a few days of breaking it in but when doing a lot of bends in a short time period, I will have to tune up again. It’s worth noting that for the first day of playing I had to re-tune once every 5 to 10 minutes.
I am planning on upgrading the tuners, nut, and string trees in addition to the strings, but more out of personal preference right now. I think that the stability of the guitar would be fine with thicker guage, especially if you play in E standard as I do.
If I was not being technical about this review, I would rate this guitar 5 stars because in all honesty it is my favourite guitar and I vibe with it extremely well. It’s performance as a cheaper instrument is outstanding to me, it is amazing to me that I enjoy it more than the guitars I’ve had that have cost 4x this one. It seems that Squier has stepped up their game in terms of quality.

Purchased this guitar used last month and I have to say I really love playing it. Neck feels amazing with a nice smooth satin finish and no sharp fret ends. Very light and comfortable to hold and very easy to play chords due to the short scale length. Pickups are of good quality and sound very full. Tuners slip out of time pretty easily which is the only downside to the guitar. Beautiful paint job love the color and look of the guitar. Very happy to recommend it to anyone. Great Guitar for the Money.

I sold my last standard sized guitar a few years ago. I've been playing smaller scaled guitars ever since. And here's another one to add to the collection.
Being a fan of smaller scaled guitars, naturally I'm biased. But I'll give an honest assessment of how I see this one. Here's how I rated it and why...
Features: two humbuckers, a three way toggle switch, and a volume and tone control. It doesn't get much more basic than that. And all works well. The placement of the toggle switch might be an issue for some (it's not hard to imagine some players hitting it by accident) but I'm fine with it.
Quality: I gave it five stars for being what you get for the $250 price tag. It's not going to blow the American mades out of the water but I've really bonded with the instrument on fairly brief acquaintance. I love the fact that you get a maple fretboard (not exactly all that common on a short scale Squier) and the overall guitar itself has a nice feel to it. Fit and finish is first rate (love the color, btw).
Value: It's being sold at an entry-level price, as already indicated, so you can't knock that. As an offering from the Squier Mini family expectations might not have been high but I've got to admit, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It's currently my favorite guitar and that might not change once the honeymoon's over and I've had it a few months. In fact, this might have been a sleeper that I let get by based on various early reviews but am I ever glad I jumped on it. This really nails it for me.
Overall: Again, for $250, and loving it as much as I do, it's been a long time since a budget Squier has put such a broad smile on my face. I'm so glad that I bought it.
Also, if you were to stand the Jazzmaster side by side with the mini strat, the Jazzmaster is taller by about an inch, giving the guitar a little more heft than your usual mini. The strap buttons are pretty small so buy a strap with really stiff leather button ends. This will make things manageable for playing while standing up. Either that or buy new strap buttons and install them yourself.
And...that's about it. I've found this guitar to be one of those hidden gems that players hope to find in the budget lineup but so seldom do. But treasures like this are the rewards of all that searching and the reason why we do it. At least that's how I see it.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
- Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.

Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.
Purchasing additional years of coverage
Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.
If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:
- NEW products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
- USED products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
- GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
- BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
