FJH Music Company FJH Recorder Method For Everyone, Bk.1 - Balent/Groeber - Book/CD

The FJH Recorder Method For Everyone is designed for the classroom and private study by addressing the National Standards for Music Education. The beginning recorder student will be performing both solos and duets. Singing along with the group is encouraged. Lyrics are provided for many recognizable songs. Reading music, notating music, conducting, and basic composition skills are introduced. All new concepts are clearly explained with interesting musical examples. The level 1 recorder books develop rhythm up to eighth notes and dotted quarters. The keys of C, Am, G, and F are introduced.
The method book contains a play-along CD that contains a track for every song, more that 60 tracks! No need to buy additional CDs. Listen to a professional recorder player performing all of the songs in the book with piano accompaniment. The CD also contains a piano-only part. Students can listen and match the performers tone and musicality. Check out the Bonus Track (La Volta by Michael Praetorius) that features a professional recorder ensemble performing on four different types of recorders. Selections include a wonderful variety of music, classical themes, folksongs, multi-cultural melodies, and original music.
