A very crashable ride. Not as responsive as a crash as something smaller would be but sounds great. When you get it going the wash will drown out articulation. The bell sounds great if not powerful. For heavy stuff I use it as a crash, for lighter stuff it is a great ride. It may less versatile than some rides, but you will love its sound. It's my first step up from a zbt/b8 rig and I have no regrets. And the description is right about it being dark and trashy.
