As with their electric guitar string lineup, I was sad to see the EXP phosphor bronze strings get discontinued because they were my go-to. However, I'm happy to say I've had a set of these on my J35 for a few months now and absolutely love them. No loss in tone. Smooth to the touch. Pricey but I expect I'll get a year out of them at this rate.

I left these strings on for 6 months and they could have stayed on even longer but I like trying different types of strings so off they came.I tend to like D'Add EJ-16's and these XS's are similar in tone. The price is stiff but if I change $10 EJ's every 2 months then $25+ for these isn't so extreme.I would recommend them.

Disappointed in these strings. Not made for my ear or guitar. Especially the first 2 strings, E,B. Nothing wrong with the feel or quality. I’ll be taking them off after just 2 days. I’ll put my “old” Elixir PB back on for a while longer.

After reading the hype around them I took the plunge and spent the money for a set of lights for my J-45.It has been just 2 weeks in, so the longevity question has yet to be answered, but so far I have to say that these are the cleanest, fullest and most resonant strings I've had on this guitar. I have to give them top marks so far, and that's after trying many different brands and alloys, so that's saying something.
