The E-ring is an easy-to-use external overtone control ring which "floats" on the surface of a drumhead. It rounds out and flattens the drumhead's sound and allows for easier tuning.

These e rings will completly change the way your drums sound. It kills any chance of overtone so you can hear a more clear and consistent sound on the snaire and toms. I would recommend it to any drummer.
