The most compact cabinet in the Parasource Series, the PS10P uses a high efficiency 10-inch woofer (with 2-inch voicecoil) to deliver extreme low end punch from as small a physical cabinet volume as possible. Wide 90 x 70 (H x V) conical horn delivers improved constant directivity and far better midrange response than competitive cabinets in this class.
Designed for maximum versatility, the PS10P works equally well as a Front-of House cabinet, side fill cabinet or floor monitor. Innovative and highly efficient passive cooling scheme ensures the PS10P will operate in any environment without need of noisy internal dust collecting fans. Integrated reinforced flypoints ensure the PS10P can be flown quickly and easily in any fixed installation.
Integrated DSP ensures the PS10P can operate in any application without complex external processing. A simple one-button high pass filter switch rolls off low frequency material when PS10P is used with any Paraline Series or powered lite System subwoofer. Bass boost delivers remarkably improved bottom end response from the PS10P without cluttering midrange program or affecting the cabinet's overall intelligibility - making it the perfect small speaker solution for larger events where additional subwoofer support is not available.
Innovative multi-band limiting allows the cabinet to deliver maximum output and remarkably event frequency response while protecting the PS10P's speaker components. Unlike competitive powered cabinets, the Parasource Series multi-band limiting scheme ensures essential elements like vocals and solo instruments in the essential midrange band aren't being modulated by transient attacks of low frequency material like kick drums and bass tracks. This delivers an extremely smooth and precise mix even at the highest output levels the cabinet can produce.

I rented these out for my senior prank day to blast music while we shot everybody with water guns as well as a fake wedding accompanied by Mendelssohn's wedding march on organ which demonstrated the outstanding lows from the 10-inch subs. Initially, I was planning on renting the PS12Ps but the PS10Ps did NOT disappoint. If the 10s sound like this, I can't wait to har a pair of 12s or 15s. Will be renting again.

I have 12 of these plus 2 - ps15 subs I use in a large theatre touring show as monitors. At times in theatres up to 800 seats that the local system is not great we put a pair of ps10p's along with the PS15s subs a side and it works great for FOH.

I would just like to say that these speakers are getting a bit of a hard rap in some local reviews , ?Very muddy sounding etc.?
When you audition them and you should, bring your own audio playback device with some good sounding tracks on it. Connect it right to the speakers. First and second time I auditioned these, both times, L&M were using their own mixer and tracks.These speakers honestly sounded a bit UGH in the store.
Then I used my iPad with good clean audio tracks and connected the iPad directly to a pair of these, running stereo. These speakers sounded fantastic, almost as good as the PS12Ps that I currently have.
I guess that old phrase ?It's not what you've got, it's how you use it? applies. The guys in the store were amazed at how good these PS10P's sounded after hearing them playing my tracks.
I'm looking to downsize my PS12P's due to my old bones and the weight of the speakers. Now that I've auditioned the PS10P's properly, I have no worries about considering them. Don't let discouraging reviews put you off these! They're Great! At 40lbs each!

I was very impressed. First I used a pair of the PS10's and 1 - PS15S Sub in a 130 seat venue and it worked well for a live track show. Then the next night I was in a large venue that would seat 300 people. I was almost going to rent the Parline 12"X2 sub but I went for it as is. I was amazed how well it filled the room with nice clear mid highs and the sub hung in there as well. I had lots of head room. I rented it but I think I won't be bringing them back.

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.
Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.
How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
- Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
- Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
- No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
- Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
- Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
- Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
- Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
- Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
- Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.
Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.
Purchasing additional years of coverage
Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.
If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:
- NEW products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
- USED products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
- GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
- BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
