After I bought my Epiphone Sheraton Pro II, I thought I would try something new. I picked 11-50 and I must say, these are excellent strings. I am 62 and have been playing since age 10. I also played professionally when I was younger. I know my strings and these are great.

I have been trying strings for years to give me the right feel and tone on my Les Paul. I was at the point were I was going to get rid of my LP for another Fender. But I decided to try these as a last resort. My LP went from a burden to my main band guitar. It sat in its case for months and never got touched. It had Elixir, Gibson Pure Nickel, Ernie Ball Cobalts etc over the years and I love all those strings but not on my LP. These in 9-42 were perfect. They have the perfect amount of slack at 440. The match the 490 pickups on the Studio like a dream.

I made the mistake of trying out a different set of strings after using these, and my tone was seriously cut in half! Gibson Brite Wires are amazing! I'm switching back for sure! they produce such a crisp, fat, warm, punchy tone that is crystal clear!...use these strings!!!!
