Evans 13" coated G2 two-ply drum head is designed to perform with an ideal balance of depth, sustain, attack and durability.
Evans G2 series, one of the most popular drum heads on the market, features two plies of 7mil film that provide a high level of consistency and durability. Originally had clear G1's on my toms and switched to these; and wow do they ever sound great. The G1s provide a much brighter sound, whereas the G2's are more full bodied and resonate warmer tones.

I got a set of these heads for the drum kit at church. These heads totally saved our kit and we were able to get a solid tone from the drum. We used to have a waffle sound from the hit and a wobbly ring. We now have a solid low thump followed by a brighter ring. Now to replace the resonant head to get a deeper ring tone from the drum.
