I waited until I tried my 2nd replacement stool to write a review. The first stool was so horrible no amount of shims could fix it, even on carpet. The 2nd stool is marginally better. None of the joints around the foot rest are solid, I had to use a c-clamp to pull parts together to put the final nut and bolt together (and yes all the other screws were still loose). The whole stool feels uneven and still wobbles. Also, the allen key supplied is such cheap metal it stripped before I could try to tighten all the nuts and bolts. Too bad the quality is so poor, it looks awesome.

Got one of these as a promotional bonus when I purchased a Fender Deluxe Telecaster. They only had this stool left in stock. Stool does require some patience upon assembly. As pointed out by another review all screws for the base of the stool need to be loose initially then tightened, for all the screws to seat properly and without struggle. Which will still occur to some degree. Overall a decent comfortable stool, but overall design could use a minor tweak for better assembly.

My dad got this free through a promotion where you buy a new strat, get a free stool/seat as well. Assembly is no sweat for anyone mechanically inclined, and it's rather comfy, good cushioning, and it swivels too. Very nice and pro looking, the sparkles are a nice touch, very retro/diner looking!

This is a not a precision made piece. Hard ware does not fit well requires you install all screws very loosely then start to tighten, bug gaps where legs meet. Once build it is a good height for playing guitar and swivels nicely. Cool 50s diner retro vibe to the seat cover, shiny vinyl with sparkels. Would look cool on stage too.
