I use both my acoustic and electric through this amp and both are awesome sounding. The amp is so clean and crisp and not too brash. When I play my Les Paul through it, it sounds awesome. Then I use my distortion and overdrive on it and it's mind boggling. Then I plug my acoustic in after I'm done the electric part of my set and all I have to do is just unplug the Les Paul and plug in the acoustic without messing with the eq or volume on the amp. I even use the od pedal for leads on the acoustic it's such a versatile amp. Thanks for all the help Windsor long and mquade.

I have been gigging for 50 + years in bands, duos and solo and have played through many amps with many guitars. When I play a bar 60 to70 people come to see the show,my outdoor shows are upwards of 400 so I'm not a weekend worrier.I picked this amp up the other day to practice with, brought it home, plugged in a guitar and mic and both me and my wife were blowin away by the clear and load sound we were hearing. You will sould good with no effects at all throught this puppy.Very very clear(you hear everything)loud enough to play a small room.I'm very happy with this little gem. It's now part of the family, ain't goin nowhere.

Amplifies music I didn't know was there. Vast improvement over champ-style electric guitar amps, for this purpose. Playing hand made guitar with piezo pickup. Nice sound with the single coil pickup too. Like switching from AM transistor radio to Hi-Fi FM.

It does what you expect it to do. Only real complaint is there not being any instructions on how to set it up for different sounds. ie I simply wanted it to make my electric acoustic to sound like my acoustic. Not that it sounds bad, it's just that I'm having a hard time with that. You might think just putting everything at 12o'clock would do that but it doesn't. Oh well I'll keep tweaking. Also a little bit of an annoying hiss but doesn't affect the sound when playing.

Good amp to practice with and nice to have microphone input when you don't have a PA. Not nearly enough power beyond small rooms.

Be careful if you own an acoustic guitar that has a B-Band T35 pickup. My S&P does and it had issues with the Fender Acoustasonic 15. It hisses once the volume is past the mid point on the amp. We tested other guitars that had the same pickups and it did the same hissing noise past the mid point of the volume on the amp. Other pickups were fine. The good news is Long and McQuade exchanged my Fender for a Behringer AT108 which sounds great. However, it does not have a chorus pedal so I picked up a FAB chorus pedal cheap at Long and McQuade. All is well now.

I play this amp with a classical guitar La Patrie concert cw and the sound is beautiful and clear. it is not powerful enough for small concert hall, but enough to practice at home. super good little amp to play with friends or alone at home.

I'd be playing my acoustic electrics plugged in through my electric amp and was worrying about the quality of one of my guitars. But then I purchased this amp today based on price and good reviews here. It brought the guitar alive giving it a way better sound. Not a lot of features but just what I needed for playing around the house.

I picked this up at the recommendation of the sales person. I was looking to run the sound from my MacBook with Amplitube and my Electric guitar into an Amp. This amp is perfect for this! The sound by itself is crystal clear and the added Chorus feature is perfect for playing my Accoustic. If you have a setup similar to mine you simply cannot go wrong with this amp. If you are looking for an amp for your acoustic/electric this is the amp for you!

I own and love my Blues Jr but I didn't like how my acoustic guitar sounded through it. When I brought it in for its 1 year set-up, I mentioned this to the guitar tech. He said that while an electric guitar sounds great through an acoustic amp, the opposite is not true and pointed me to the Acoustasonic 15 on display. I must say, I was amazed by all that sound coming out of such a little box. I was also impressed how clear and rich my acoustic guitar sounded through this amp; the chorus feature was a huge bonus. I walked out of the store with one under my arm. When I got it home, I plugged in my Les Paul Studio and the tech was right, it gave my guitar a whole different sound. This amp definitely gets a thumbs up from me.

Picked on up to fool around with. Also has a mic input. Great sound and LOUD for such a small unit. Looks like a toy but loud as you need without a PA.

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
