This pedal was a complete surprise to me. It beat out the dw9000, the demon drive and the demon chain. Its quick and its smooth and easy to adjust, especially spring tension.
The mounting system is OK, works fine but I prefer the side wingnut myself. It wasn't a deal breaker though. This pedal just felt right, like your favorite pair of shoes, not your most expensive shoes but your favorite ones, where your foot feels at home, that's how I describe how this pedal feels to me. The price is nice too, although not a factor in my choice. I was prepared to spend the money on the DW 9000 if it felt right. Like I said,a complete surprise. This is a great pedal.
