This a fantastic guitar with so much to offer! Neck feels super comfortable and pickups are greatly balanced. Extra pickup configurations are so much fun to explore. I believe Fender outdid themselves here. Definitely worth the extra money if you can afford it.

I have dealt with L&M walker Road Windsor and Bill C. for I'm guessing over 20 years. I have bought guitars, amps effects, you name it. I currently have 6 guitars this Fender Pro 2 Sienna Burst the latest entry. I am Not a professional musician I play at home. I play most everything from The Beatles to Pink Floyd as well as CCR, as well I have played in a church group. Of all the guitars I have, Two more expensive, this one the Fender Pro 2 Is by Far the Easiest guitar I have Ever played. I have more expensive Fenders, a Martin D 26, Martin 12 String, though all Great Instruments the action on this guitar out of the box is Hands down Awesome. Very easy on these 70+ fingers. The Fit and finish is Above par, the Burst is beautiful, the grain showing through the gloss finish, and Yes the neck is satin smooth and absolutely No squeaking or sticking to the neck on my hand. I have absolutely No regrets spending the extra coin for the Sienna Burst Well Done Fender

Nice guitar. Bears mentioning after playing a lot of brand new Fender Stratocasters that the quality is all over the place.

Honestly I was about to sunk over 3k on an ultra lux Strat. The best advice I ever get from fellow players is that, you really need to pick up the guitar and spend some time with it.
I actually did my stock research and drove an hr out to a store with both AmPro2 and UltraLuxe in stock.
My honest opinion is that when I picked up the Pro2, it really feels great to my hand, very comfortable like feels at home. The luxe for some reasons feels a little weird, may be something I can get used to but…
I end up went with Pro2 and it’s like love in first sight. The only thing it bugs me is staggering tuner posts. I am a bit of a stiff for things in uniform so I end up upgrading my tuners to all short posts locking tuners, like the ultra. Love, love love

This guitar is spectacular. Incredibly comfortable to play, the neck has a great finish, sounds exactly like a strat should. This has become the first guitar I grab to play. As for the colour, you absolutely have to see the Miami blue in person. Photos don’t do it justice. All around outstanding guitar.

The first thing that drew me to this guitar was the colour!! So awesome!! The playability of the guitar is top notch and is my third American Professional guitars. The tone is super “stratty”:) My one piece of feedback is I don’t love the push/push control for the pickup blending. It feels a tad flimsy and the tone knob turns far too easily. All in all, I love this guitar!

You know that feeling when you were a kid walking into a music store and you know you're probably going to end up with an ibanez gio if you're lucky but most likely some no name brand that dad says looks exactly like a gibson. And you look up at the wall and see that dream guiar that you know someday you're going to own, well this was that guitar for me lol. To put things short, I've always been a die hard fender fan, but can never afford an american and would settle with mexican or japanese, which are not bad by any means. This was exactly what I was looking ofr in a classic American Standard Strat. For those who dont know, the "american standard" was replaced by the professional series... so you're really just getting a beefed up american standard with this guitar... which is truly the perfect guitar. Like seriously who wouldn't want this guitar. Finish is super classy and beautiful Feel is as buttery smooth and you'd imagine Playability is as easy as a guitar hero video game lol Sound is - Strat. thats all that needs to be said Neck is so classic and feels great. All in all 10/10. You seriously don't need any other guitar if you're making this your 1 and only baby.

Love this guitar. Originally was going to buy the HSS as I prefer humbucker in bridge. But I really liked the maple neck on the SSS. Went to see Andre at L&M in Laval, he made one suggestion. Swap the bridge pickup for a Little 59 by Seymour Duncun and now I have the best of both worlds. The neck and rolled edges feel incredible. Never felt anything smoother. The finish on this guitar is a real treat. Quality of workmanship is very evident. The color really given this iconic guitar a fresh modern look

Literally, the best Strat I have ever played. In my opinion the modern neck appointments and pickup enhancements put this model over the top in comparison with the Pro model. The maple neck feels like a custom and is extremely comfortable to play. The narrow tall frets make a significant difference when bending. Very smooth. Pine body is noticeably light and very resonant. I was surprised by the darker color sunburst in comparison to the photos. The grain pops and the finish had no noticeable flaws. SSS configuration pickups are very clear and punchy. No disappointment whatsoever in getting the range of expected Strat tones plus the tone push button gives welcome sound options. No loss of highs when turning down the volume. I had tested various Strat Ultras, Elites and Pros over the last few years. Decided to hold out for the Pro II (You tube reviews helped) and I wasn't disappointed. In my opinion the modern appointments put this model on top. Stays in tune when using the whammy bar. I'm considering getting staggered locking tuners as an extra enhancement for string changes.

Fantastic product from Fender. Three items worth mentioning, Outstanding comfort in the neck, fully functional push/push button that offer up very usable tone, and the best sounding pups outside the CS options. This guitar has an ability to be pushed to the point of metal and does not not give up the sweet clear tone Fender is known for. Love the new color and the tint on the neck is a perfect fit.

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
