These are great strings,, with a spare high E, incld., inexpensive. I've played quality instruments since mid 60's. This was the Bronze formulation until early 70's it shifted almost to phos/bronze standard, it doesn't oxidize as fast. I noticed a significant drop in bass & high end on a OM Bourgeois Adirondak Madigasgar with phos/bronze and went to these. Much better!
