This cymbal has great stick definition on the bow. It is more mellow and low-pitch compared to an AAX RBDR ride I bought in 2010. It also has a bit of wash when riding and a great penetrating bell. The edge is just flexible, allowing to the cymbal to be crash-rided on without sounding like a gong. The crash tone on the 24" is pleasingly and musically rich, being responsive to the slightest touch. I find this cymbal very versatile with its great balance of wash and stick definition. This cymbal is comparable to the sweet ride I bought years prior which had more brightest, cut and glassy tone. Overall, the 24 bash ride is fun to play on.

This ride has a great balance of stick definition and crashability. Bright, loud and low in pitch. The bow has good articulation and the bell is penetrating. Striking the edge produces great wash and truly fills the room. I would say this cymbal is comparable to the zildjian a sweet ride. The bash ride also seems to have a much mellow and less glassy tone than the sweet ride.
