Switch silently!
The Circuit Breaker plug has fail-safe operation to save your equipment from loud pops and squeals when you change guitars with a live amp. When the button is pushed, the cable shorts while remaining plugged into your guitar, making on-stage guitar changes a snap and eliminating any chance of sound bursts. Once the cable is shorted, remove the cable from the guitar being used and plug the cable into the next instrument. Press the button again to reactivate the cable signal.
Limited lifetime warranty

I bought a pair of these couple of years ago. Both of them were ten feet, one with an angled jack to be used on either a Tele or a Les Paul, the other for a Strat. The main reason I bought them was for the switch. Needless to say, that was the wrong reason to buy them as within no time at all, the switches on both failed leaving me with a questionable cable.
However, it terms of the jacks staying put, that was not a problem and I had the plugged into several different amps over the time I was using them.
The Studio One cables made by Yorkville are likely much higher quality in terms of the copper wiring and the overall construction. The Studio One cables, however, do not come with the same switch.
I'm glad I didn't toss the Studio One cables I bought ten years ago. I plugged them in tonight, one with an angled jack for my Les Paul, and one for my Strat. Both are snug in their respective inputs, and they work like a charm.

Works exactly as intended and fits snugly in standard jacks. I use this cable in my home studio and never experience sound bursts, loud pops or any other noise. Have had 5 years of regular use and it still works perfectly.

Hasn't really worked from day one. The jack doesn't feel snug to the bass so the blue ring is not up against the jack of the bass as it should be. The result is that it cuts out sound all of the time. I had an older Planet Waves cable and it was great, it's too bad they have this new flawed connector.
I would not recommend to anyone.

I buy Planet Waves because of their Lifetime Warranty. I've purchased 4 since I first saw them on the market 10 years ago. Yes they cost more than most, but I still have all 4 in use because the few times where one actually shorted out, I took it back to L&M and they swapped it for a new one for me immediately. $40 and you have a cable guaranteed for life. Pretty hard to find companies that still back their products up like that. To me, that beats buying a $15 one every year.

This cable seems well constructed. The switch is a great feature. Problem I had is the 90 angle jack is too short to fit in my telecaster and is barely long enough to stay plugged into several other instruments on either end due to a washer on the top of the jack ends I suspect. It is not very flexible either.

Very thick cable, and heavy! i love how you can cut the signal! very handy! one of the best cables i have ever owned. pretty pricey i must admit, but what ever you pay for good quality, and that's exactly what you get.
