I have been playing the violin for 8 years and my first bow of the same brand lasted me 5 years, and broke after vigorous playing so I thought I'd buy another of the SAME bow. This one lasted me only 2 years and broke WHILE IN MY CASE?! I was not playing it AT ALL and it somehow broke? I suggest you save your money and buy a different bow.

This bow fell apart on my after only three months of usage. I was very disappointed in the quality of this bow. The strings are supposed to slowly fall out, but this bow exploded and half of the hairs came out. The hair were not properly secured and fell out easily.
