I used this book to start learning the piano. It's great! And having the CD to go along with it really helps beginners. The songs in the book are good starting pieces. Overall great value and a great starting point.

It's good for late beginners, we use this book in my school's keyboard class and it teaches you a lot in every page. As for quality it's not anything surprising or fancy, its your basic stuff and not really many songs that are catchy in the book. The price is OK, call me cheap whatever but I've seen this book go up to $30 which is ridiculous. Overall I'd give it a 7 out of ten.
