Mono Bags M80 Double Bass Guitar Bag - Black

Double Trouble
A second bass is a must-have on stage or in the studio. But in transit, carrying two bass guitars has always been a necessary evil. We set out to design an elegant solution to this problem. Our driving criteria was to offer each guitar the same protection as our single M80 hybrid case. After a year of prototyping, the Z-form design was perfected and patented. The end result is an incredibly light weight, extremely rugged double hybrid case. A first of its kind.
Z-form
This "zig zag" design creates a completely separate case for each bass. That means both headstocks are protected with our Headlock feature and strap pin bumpers. It also means the M80 Dual can be used with 1 or 2 bass guitars - something you'll appreciate on the road. The Z-form design allows for immediate access to either bass as well. The first bass is accessed on the left side of the case, while the second bass slots into the right side.
City-proof Construction
High-tech materials and triple reinforced stitching make for an extremely durable product. The M80 Dual Bass case features a waterproof outer shell, steel riveted handle and shoulder straps, industrial rubber "sole" and piping, and oversized ergonomic zippers. Wear it well.

First, let me get this out of the way...yes it is very expensive for a case. But if I compared it to buying two separate cases of similar quality it was comparable.
If you're like me and you hate making multiple trips from your car to the venue at a gig or practice then you will definitely appreciate having this gig bag.
I got the Tick 2.0 accessory bag with my purchase to put some cables and goodies, and along with the storage pockets provided with the M80 I have enough room for nearly my entire loadout. I do not pack light and I have this thing absolutely crammed and it holds up great.
The quality of all the straps and stitching seems like this will work for many years of gigging and practicing.
I was nervous about putting two instruments together on top of each other but the segregation of the two compartments is well-engineered and I am confident that both instruments are well protected. I can fit my 5-string multi scale bass without issues. I find the head lock system very secure and convenient.
I will say that this thing is very heavy. Even when I only take 1 bass with me I still find it heavier than a normal gig bag. It is pretty much mandatory to wear it as a backpack if you have 2 instruments in the case so keep that in mind before you invest.
I gave 5 stars for features because of the engineering and product design. I think the integration with the Tick could be a bit better because it kind of blocks the large pocket at the top but I make it work while the case is horizontal on the ground.
Quality was also given 5 stars because I truly believe this will hold up for many years of abuse. I would not tour with this case and would instead opt for hardshell cases if I was not loading my own gear into my own car but in terms of protection and quality of materials I think it deserves perfect on this rating.
I only awarded 3.5 stars for value because the price point is very high. I think some of this price is justified for the convenience provided but it is a premium product so keep that in mind before investing.
Overall a rating of 4.5 out of 5 because I think only minor improvements could be made and the only thing I would change is the price.
