All I can say is wow! This amp is awesome if you’re looking for that Marshall crunch sound. Takes you from jtm territory all the way up to jcm 900. The crunch sounds in here are awesome. The clean channel really surprised me. It’s really nice sounding. Very articulate and chimy. I run a fractal fx8 in 4 cable method and the sound is to die for. This amp has a lot of features and pretty small learning curve. Their expensive new but I bought mine used for just over half the price of new. Has 2 effects loops ( series and parallel ) and xlr out. The 2 master volumes are great for a rhythm/lead setup. Downside for me is it’s got some weight to it and the stock speaker was pretty bland. I swapped out for a creamback and the amp just came alive. Also recommend a noise gate. Once you crank it it becomes hissy. A noise gate takes care of that no problem and you’re left with an awesome amp that’s very versatile.

I bought this combo in 2013 and it was only $2,300 at that time. It was a bit difficult figuring out how it worked and getting the channels down property but when that was over with I have found this the best combo amp ever. Being able to switch channels without relying on a foot pedal for overdrive and distortion was a welcoming change. I use it for practice at home and in the studio and I've done an album with this amp and it sounds just excellent!!... From clean to the overdrive channels you couldn't ask for more and the reverb is beautiful on this one! Marshall really started waking up when they build these amps and it's like having four different amps in one!... I've got nothing to say but good things about the 215c; it has been the best amp I have ever owned besides my three 410H's. I never thought twice when I bought this and neither should you!!

I wanted an amp that did everything and this amp does! It has the volume no problem you do not need a 4-12 cabinet with this but I still use one but for live it's all you need. This amp can sound like every Marshall that was ever made from the nice cleans to the strait in raw Marshall & up to the 900 and the Super Lead 2000. It took some time to learn how the channels were programmed but once your dialed in it's good to go and yes A Noise Gate is a good requirement if you want to go loud but then again there's no other way to play a Marshall!!! ??

This is one of those "you get what you pay for" amps. Great British Marshall quality. It just sounds like a Marshall - GREAT! Wonderful cleans and great distortion. Very useful reverb. Loud - which is the whole reason we buy Marshall; and it sounds great at low volume as well. Cons: heavy, needs a noise gate

This is hands down the fullest sounding and heaviest 1x12 combo I've ever used. Obviously it makes world class dirty sounds but the clean is one of the best I've ever heard. There literally isn't a sound that this amp can't make. I used this for a jazz gig once at a soft seat theatre. The week before that I used it for a British blues show. If you want to own one tube amp that does everything, this is it. So what if it's expensive. This may be the last amp I ever need to buy.

I gigged regularly for 5 years with this amp and aside from one bad tube later on, it was a solid piece of gear. Reliable!

I've had Marshall before dsl,900, but this little amp is really neat .It's small compact a little on the heavy side but not too bad. The sound is where is at. The cleans are great from sparkling to varying dirt. The second picks up from that and goes to extremely saturated. I found being careful with the gain control is important. Just don't crank the gain all the way and expect it to have definition. I have my gains at 10 o'clock and its plenty.Reverb sounds good and the footswitch works well as you can program four of your sounds to be recalled. It has a xlr direct out as well as Midi . All in all a great litle amp that I am enjoying plus it's 50 watts so it's plenty of juice to rock and roll.

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
