This is not a drum rug. It does nothing for anchoring your drum kit, unless, of course, you use it on top of another rug. The "non-slip" backing is only 3 inches(!), around the perimeter. The entire interior of the rug lacks any kind of backing and is extremely slippery on smooth surfaces. You could easily fall stepping onto this rug on hardwood if your not careful. Terrible product, obviously had ZERO R&D attention from Zildjian.
