I bought these to replace the original ones in my '67 Holiday kit. The old ones were squeaky and audible when I hit the drums. I tried cleaning them and adding felts to keep them from rattling on every tom hit without success. These new ones fit the original holes perfectly and now there's no more rattling! I'm contemplating putting some on my new Covington kit, but I'm a little uneasy about drilling holes in them.

Well made and works great. Easy to dial in the right sound without rings, gel, tape, special heads, etc. I mounted it 2.5 inches down from top bearing edge to center hole as per Rogers recommendation. Works perfectly on my Pearl snare.
