No gimmicky features. The yoke swivels, ensuring the instrument hangs straight.

Sorry, I think I goofed on whether the hanger would be stronger if the pivot were re-located to the top of the block. The design would be best as-is, contrary to what I claimed, I think. The top screw being farther away from the pivot gives it more leverage to resist the moment of the guitar's weight and so it can do that with less force acting to pull the screw out of the wall.

If the hollow pivot which holds the hanger were to be rotated 180 degrees in the block, that would mean it became located at the top. Then the weight of the guitar would have less leverage to pull the top screw out of the wall. The Phillips head screws' socket is too soft. It deformed and became useless before the screw could be driven all the way into the supplied rawl plug in a plaster/concrete wall. Luckily I found two Robertson head (square socket) screws the same size in my parts cabinet and they went in securely no problem. Perhaps your concern may be whether all customers would have the appropriate size Robertson screwdriver? Nice to be able to find a made in Canada item.

I like that this hanger gets my guitars off the ground so there is no need to move them when cleaning up. Great storage solutions and they are ready when I am. No complaints they work as described.

I have a few of these products from back when the apex logo was on them from about 10 years ago. I have another guitar to hang up so I got a matching one. Right away I noticed the item is so cheap it doesn't even have the Yorkville stamp on the front. It is just blank wood. The plastic mounting hole is rough when the hanger spins in the hole. When I put the hanger into my older mounting bracket it is smooth. The plastic is also damaged from out of the box. The wood quality seems fine. The drill holes look unfished from the back like there was no care in the craftsmanship of the wooden block. Overall it feels like a knockoff from China rather than a genuine product. Spend you 25$ somewhere else.
