What a wonderful tool to assist in taming mutes on high gain tones. (Max the Threshold, Min the Decay).
It does also dampen a lot of gain and/or PU noise.
It doesn't get rid of it, but medium or less gain is near inaudible.
High gain is still a bit of hum, but night and day when turning off/on.
Would love a better quality but the $ range makes this a near steal what it is, a noise suppressor.

Adds more noise than it removes 1 of 2 customers found this review helpful

I've owned this pedal for several weeks now and have come to realize that while it does remove noise while not playing, when the pedal is on it actually adds noise to the signal. It's inexpensive, but doesn't work quiet like it needs to. Works well as a mute pedal.

I have used this for awhile now and it does the trick! I use a very heavy mxr super badass distortion and this thing eliminates the noise no problem.
