Engineered to maximize output and clarity, Ernie Ball Cobalt Slinky Guitar Strings are the latest innovation in string technology. Seeking to provide guitarists and bassists with a new voice, Cobalt strings provide an extended dynamic range, incredible harmonic response, increased low end, and crisp, clear highs.

Cobalt provides a stronger magnetic relationship between pickups and strings than any other alloy previously available. Cobalt Slinkys are also soft and silky to the touch, making string bending a breeze.

Swapped out GHS strings for Cobalt on Rogue Hawaiian Lap Steel guitar. Vastly improved and actually sounds like a Hawaiian. Also installed on Stratocaster and got the same positive effects . More presence, detail and clarity. Inspired me to improve my playing as I am a novice , but keener on great sound. Really worth trying out these strings.

I have a PRS S2 singlecut (comes w/ 10's) Beautiful guitar but I wasn't in love with it. After 6 months I switched to these Ernie Ball 11's....I haven't looked back. Completely changed the tone - for the better. Feels great, sounds great. I love the guitar now. If you're considering these strings - get them - you won't be disappointed

I'm no professional player, so the difference in tone is not too audible with passive pickups and a solid state amp. They felt nice to play. If you just play for fun like me and have an entry level setup, you're better off buying less expensive strings.

Get sick with it. Light or thick strings. Feel the difference. Go get a pack and a 6 of beer. You won't be disappointed. Ernie Ball taking it to the next level.
