This product at first glance has great features. I bought mine approximately 10 years ago. It has served me well up until 3 years ago. For some reason the overmolded components started to disintegrate. These parts were the height adjustment grip and the rubberized knobs. They became sticky and gummy. The height adjustment grip is now broken and is not repairable. I’m very disappointed.

To much for the repairs you will inevitably have to make on your guitar neck 2 of 2 customers found this review helpful

Overall at first glance this guitar stand seems pretty good and the material is solid. But there is one catch. The thing that joins the top after the bottom house allows the top after swivel around... One unsuspecting victim might place their guitar on the stand only to find for the head to swivel around and drop the guitar right onto the floor. Which is happened at least three times for me. It seems the only way to counteract this is to go to the store and purchase a tube of superglue and glue the connecter to the bottom half.
3/10 would not recommend
If you’re looking for a cheaper guitar stand just go and pick up the Yamaha ones that are in the plastic bags they’re cheaper and they won’t ruin your guitar neck.

Nice and solid. The clasp for height adjustment is far superior to the screw/nut format on previous stands. Much less flimsy than others I've owned - a nice improvement. The only thing I wish it had was a folding "head" like the ones I've had in the past. It's a small detail but makes it easier to fold into a gig bag.
Otherwise - perfect!

better than the crappy ones, and probably not as good as the expensive ones but it does the job well for the money. I feel safe putting my guitars on it
