Bought this about a month ago. Its my first Harmonica. I would say it is definently not the best choice to buy at any level. I can already here notes being off or wonky. Im by no means good at playing but I have already outgrown this harp.

This harmonica is a great harmonica for playing Folk , Country, Gospel and so on in the first position. If played properly with a normal breath has a nice tone. I've a couple of these that are ten years old, have been cleaned a few times and still play well..The bottom line is, dollar for dollar and note for note these hamonicas are good hsrmonicas!

I had this harmonica twice. I thought it was a good deal for the price but the harmonica turned out to be horrible. Notes don't work properly on this harmonica. I would not recommend it to anyone. Don't waste your money on this harmonica.

Was my first harmonica ever....it had "dead holes" so returned to L&M and upgraded to the Pro Master....sooooo much nicer! Pass by the folk master and spend more to get something you will want to play!

My first Suzuki harmonica. I usually get Hohners but theyve become quite pricey. I was looking for under $20. This one hits the low notes clear. Impressive. Will find out later if the notes will stay in tune.

I bought both a D and C from Long and Mcquade. I Used them quite minimally for a few months and both - BOTH - began whistling and jamming on the high notes. If harps were returnable I would so do it. Junk.
On the plus side, if there are any pluses to be had, they came in nice enough hard cases and sounded alright until they stopped working.
My Hohner Special 20, however, which I also bought from L&M around the same time, still works and sounds great.
