A loud click closed and distinct ring open, a bit tinny but at $ point? They do have a crisp, pronounced ring on open action. Stick reaction is good (7A)
I use to practice on an electronic kit to keep the feel. Find a lot of e-kit hats are lame especially when it comes to quick open reaction time regardless of type. Keep in mind these are not $$$+ hats so there are limitations to how they react/sound so something to put into your decision when purchasing. Overall great for real feel stick practice. Maybe a small gig or jam.... Studio? NO.
