I find it much more difficult to get my Guitar in tune with this as compared to the Snark. I love the low profile and the fact that it doesn't look like a growth on my Guitar head, but it takes a long time to tune a Guitar. If you don't have a talkative front person, or if you are the only one onstage, it can be embarrassingly slow. I generally tune my low E string and then tune the others harmonically. MUCH faster!

Has anyone noticed that this unit is also innacurate? Brought it back a day after I bought it. Its crap. AND the kind help at the hamilton store had the same problem with them. So... Check your tuning people. Mine was reading considerably sharp A. Checked against 6 tuners from 20 bucks to 150 all with same results. I kindly ask people to know what they are speaking of before speaking. Thank you. Rene Bass player/Hamilton

No good live. Won't pick up reliably if there is a lot of noise or vibration especially on the low strings. Also delicate. A few bumps and it's pooched.

Great visual indicators, nice and small, all my buddies want one once they've used it. I also have the Boss Tu-10, which is too sensitive (if there's such a thing with respect to getting proper tuning) and it just takes longer to try to get the Boss needle centered. The Boss comes with all these modes and marketing hype, costs more, but the Planet Waves is my go-to tuner.

Sensitivity is not the best. Won't pick up the B string on my '96 Ibanez SR1205NT at all. Tuning is close enough in a pinch but they are always out enough to be annoying. Battery life is about 6 months, for the cost of them new and what the batteries cost, you might as well just consider these disposable.

I like this as a back-up for my pedal tuner. It's small and sturdy and cheap. However, it doesn't pick up the vibrations from my bass very well, and it doesn't agree with my Boss TU2. Maybe I just got a bad one because many buyers seem happy with them. Try before you buy?

Just bought this. Great price and the unit is super compact. It stays hidden behind your headstock and since it works off vibrations, you can tune up even if you aren't plugged in. The LED lights are great when you are on stage and this is a cheaper option to buying a stomp box tuner and saves you the trouble of unplugging your guitar and plugging into a regular tuner.

I had this for a while now and I can assure you this is a very good buy. I can tune my Instrument in the middle of a song because it works even with a lot of noise. Very efficient. Small and invisible.
