These sound relatively good for their price at the cost of a uneven mid range and lacking low mids. How ever I had 2 pairs breakdown for the same reason in 1 year. Now they are completely worthless, and I will no longer be buying from Beyerdynamic.

Pros: Great soundstage Best in class bass response Overall flat sound but still fun (No mid bias) Great build quality (Although not very flexible) Good coiled cable. Just the right length Comfortable earcups (surprisingly good isolation too) Cons: - No swivel - Non removable cable FYI Most starter/mid level interfaces may not be able to power this to full potential. I have the Scarlett 6i6 (Not USB powered) and it could only provide about 80% of the power to these. Got a Mackie HM4 headphone amp and the problem was solved.

Very pleased with the quality and sound of these headphones. Clean and crisp music. The velour ear pads are extremely comfortable as well. Definitely recommended, one of my favorites I've owned.

Don't listen to the people telling you that there isn't enough bass on the DT 770 pro. I listen to hip hop, rock, jazz, etc. and I often find myself needing to use APO Equalizer to turn the bass down. The bass is really deep and beautiful, and can reveal significant flaws in a song's mix. Works really well for monitoring while playing guitar as well. Casual listening is amazing with the DT 770 Pro. I paired it with a Schiit stack (Modi 3+Magni Heresy) and I love the sound. If you're looking for a closed back and you are happy with this price, please close your eyes and buy these headphones.

My sister owns these cans and I typically borrow it from her from time to time. Beats any other headphones I have and just need to get my own pair later and buy a good dac/amp for later use. Comfiest pair of cans, but can get a little warm with extended usage. Looks and feels well built and can last a long time with my only minor complaint is the wire is non-detachable. My usage for this is gaming and listening on the side. These are a very fun pair of cans to have.

These cans have a great sound to them. The sub bass really is phenomenal; these headphones made me hear things in my songs that I hadn't heard before. Extremely sturdy, they're built like a tank. All parts are user accessible and replaceable. I read another review somewhere that said the white paint on the lettering on the sides of these cans rubs off easily. I kept a close eye on it and sure enough, the paint started rubbing off after only a few days' use. I corrected it right away with a small brush and sealed it with clear coat, no problems since. Would have given 5 stars if the paint hadn't rubbed off so easily. That just seems kind of unprofessional to me.

I've had the same pair since 2004 (it's now 2018) and they sound fantastic. One driver had to be repaired after about 2 years, but everything has been fine since. Beyerdynamic took care of the repair under warranty. They're very comfortable - easy to wear for hours if necessary without hearing fatigue or discomfort.

Can't go wrong, i own a pair of the these for about two years, the velour cover wears to fast and become irritating. I will have to find another cover but this is the only complaint i got.

I've had these headphones for at least 2 years and use them mostly for practicing bass guitar in a mixer with music. These phones are very flat but can take the punishment I provide with a 5-string bass. Have also just used them to listen to music and they sound amazing.

I bought those 6 months ago and love them. They sound great and they are well made (made in germany). 250 ohms (need a power supply, NOT for portable mp3 players). They don't look cool, but that does not matter to me. I am very satisfied.
