I installed these in a solo music guitar kit..changed the nut changed the machine heads new brass bridge...I had to enlarge the bridge cavity..easy work with a small chisle and as everyone else the ground wire was about 2 inches long so I spliced it with some wire I had hanging around...after intonation and height adjustments..these things are hot..hot good..3 different tones neck.. middle..bridge..twang quack roar...so pleased thanks L&M...cheers

Got me a New Squire Bullet 2015 Made in China. Looked good and well made. After a year I decided to get a set of pickups. The originals sounded thin. So Tex/Mex looked good with price and the reviews. Easy to install and splice some wires and solder. WOW what a difference. Later got me a Ibanez Tube Screamer. Now I am in rock and roll heaven.. HA! Good Guitar and neck and tunning keys are flawless. Holds in tune for a long tune

I had built a “partscaster” which played well but sounded a bit thin. On the recommendation of a friend (a professional studio guitarist) I installed these pickups, and it now sounds amazing. I would recommend these without hesitation. Won’t break the bank either. (There was a short ground wire, but nothing a bit of solder, extra wire, and heat shrink couldn’t fix.)

I saw a lot of bad reviews on Amazon that seemed like vendor issues so I made sure to buy it from long and mcquade in person.
They sound amazing in my Squier affinity. I had to make the cavity bigger with my dremel and router bit to accommodate the bridge pickup.
The bridge pickup has a ground wire that’s too short so I scabbed wire from the original pickups to finish the install. I should have bought some extra wire to save myself some stress but in the end it worked out fine. I very happy.
