Understanding that coated strings aren't going to have the same brightness and "chime" as uncoated ones do, these are not quite as good as Elixir Nano-Webs. They sound 3-4 weeks old right out out of the package, and are a disappointing down-grade from the better brands of uncoated strings. I'd hoped the 80-20 blend might compensate for this a bit (over phosphor-bronze) but unfortunately not. For the few minutes / month it takes to change strings, I'll be going back to uncoated.
