A low cost option for connecting a mic to a computer. Plug and play cord was immediately recognized by my PC and tested out OK. Apple computer did not recognize immediately. Will troubleshoot later.
The XLR connector is low quality, doesn't lock in solidly. Cord is not very flexible and retains kinks unlike a standard mic cord.

I have a Shure SM48 connected to my computer using this cable and it works extremely well for inputting voice into your computer.

XLR connector at one end, > 6' cable, tiny mic preamp and ADC and USB interface at the other. For using a dynamic mic with Skype, or recording voice on a PC, it seems to work fine.
I can't find a "boost" setting in the driver for Windows 10. With a close-talked Shure SM58, and "AGC" turned on in the driver, I get close to full volume on Skype or Audacity. Nice tone, no distortion.
16-bit audio, 48 kHz sampling. It's not "studio quality", but it's not "studio priced", either. Much cheaper than any headset with a good boom mic.
