Q & A

Plays so easy it makes me laugh. Very quick initial attack on the sound, plays bottom to top (including altissimo) without a problem. If you know how to growl into the sax it will scream for you. If you use the appropriate embouchure for jazz it comes out slightly darker than a Meyer. No baffle of any kind so don't expect to stand up and take the stage without a microphone. For how easy it plays and the quality that seems to be common to Yamaha mouthpieces I'd say this is a perfect first upgrade for someone not sure about investing a large pile of money into some of the fancier mouthpieces.
