I ordered this very expensive Taylor guitar strap on line, to go with my Taylor 224CE-K Dlx. It's not stocked by any of the LM stores, so it's special order. I waited a month for delivery. ( The order experience was good.) When I excitedly opened the box, I was met with a very strong odour, presumably from the leather tanning. This odour did not dissipate over 2 weeks time. It was very well made, but it also quite stiff and heavy. I expected more decorative tooling on the leather. I decided I couldn't live with the odour. and returned it ( with no issue) . The salesperson I returned it to also commented on the odour. I bought another Taylor strap from the Brampton store, that was softer, looks nice, and had no odour. It was 1/3 the price too.
