I recently got a pack of 1.5 mm, bit expensive but I wanted to try them based on what I read, in particular "metal players love them".
Turns out there is a reason they love them. Clear, full, articulate, everything you want for speed and clearness and tone. Feels a bit different to hold and use vs a standard pick but is worth a little retraining which shouldn't be too difficult.
