Ce sont les meilleures cordes que j'ai utilisées sur ma Martin 00-18 de 1952. Elles durent nettement plus longtemps que les autres (3 à 6 mois pour utilisation occasionnelle) et expriment pleinement le son riche de ma guitare.

These strings sound decent, however the plain strings tend to corrode really quickly. Either my sweat is ultra corrosive or these are just lower quality plain strings. I wipe my strings down after I play and it doesn't seem to help. Also, the price is a little high for what you are getting.

Playing 3 gigs a week. Change these every 3 months and I probably don't have too. Longest lasting string I've used. They don't peel like those other guys.

I purchased a set of the Lifespan 2.0's to try on a Gibson acoustic, however the low E string was dead. The remaining 5 strings sounded great, so it was disappointing to find a bad string.

I restrung my 1972 Guild D40 yesterday with these Lifespan lights.
They are the best coated string I have tried. Good volume, very well balanced. For me, they are not as slippery as Elixir and better balanced than D’Addario.
I will put them on my Larrivée next!

So since I bought a Martin Guitar I decided to give these a shot since they came on the guitar. I loved the sound and tone of these strings but it seems that their quality is quite poor. It’s seems like another string breaks every month. I have been through 5 sets of these within the last 6 months. I put them on both my Martin and Fender acoustics. The worse part is that I have yet to break a high E string or B string. It is always the wound strings that break. I have broke E,A,D,G strings on both guitars . Also they always seem to break in different locations. Had them break at bridge, middle of fret board, nut and at tuner peg. I was using Elixir strings before I went to these and would get six months out of those before I changed them out without breaking any. Looks like I am going back the them. I would have expected much better quality from Martin since their guitars are amazing but i have to say their strings are not even close.
