If you want to throw your Bass out a window of a moving car with it in this case, then this might not be the case for you! :( But for everyday use and protection? This is a GREAT!! Case!!

I got this last fall for a PJ bass I was putting together. It's well built and the price is reasonable. Fits Fender style basses (haven't tried with others) well enough. Though on mine the headstock does press on the front of the case somewhat but not enough to cause me any problems.

You might wish to measure your bass before buying this model. While it fits my Fender P bass, two of my Ibanez basses didn't. The problem? Not wide enough.

I ordered two of these cases and both had some of the black exterior material coming off of them as soon as I got them out of the plastic. They feel kind of cheap, but not bad for the price. The interior feels nice and not as cheap as the exterior does. I don't know how well they'd hold up if you were traveling with them all the time, but as storage cases they work well. My Fender Jaguar just fits into this case - the smaller and slightly cheaper case would not have been wide enough.

Bought mine in 2010, fits both my basses like a glove. Has survived regularly being chucked in the bed of a truck to head out to the boonies to play barn jams.
8 years later, it's still in excellent condition.

Very good value for the money. Long scale Ibanez fits to a T in it. Nicely balanced case. And doesn't break the bank. Very good product!

I have like 12 of these cases, one for each of my basses except the Thunderbird. But these cases take a beating and keeps on ticking lol.... I recommend this case as it's versatile, tough and fits ALL precision style basses.

Pretty decent case for it's price. Only complaint I have is that (like many other hardshell cases) the clips that close the case are not very durable. They bend very easily if the case is tipped over, even from a very short distance. Also, the middle clip tends to pop out, and if you've forgotten to close your other clip, then your bass is gonna jump out. I personally use a lock to prevent my bass from falling out. Overall, I suggest buying it if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a case.

For under $100 this is a solid case. My Ibanez SRF808 fits well, and does what its supposed to do. Only downside is that I noticed when closing the case, it wants to shift out of the grooves for the locks. But its a minor adjustment to push it into place. Well worth the price.

This case (and the Musicman within) survived being rear-ended by a car going over 100 Km/h.
The case is still usable, the guitar is in perfect shape.
Both cars were totalled.
Will be getting another for my Spector.

I try and support our own every chance I get. Well made and workmanship seems good for the price. The neck of my bass didn't fit when I bought it, but the underlying foam is "squishable" and now it fits like a glove.
Buy this one.....

I bought it for my Jaguar and Jazzmaster since it's the only one that does fit. Perfect for top load. I would not expect it to last forever... I'll see how much abuse it can take. But so far, I am satisfied.

I chose this for my Squier MB5 5-string (I would consider the deluxe J-style for a 4-string jazz bass). It's nicely balanced, a great fit with great padding inside, has lots of room in the compartment (compared to the teardrop-shaped version particularly), and is amazing quality for the price. It's Canadian-made, too!

I own two of these; one for an Ibanez ATK, and one for an Ibanez SR505(slightly different size and weight). Both fit snuggly with no flopping around. Nice storage compartment and nice groove for the neck. This is not a hardshell travel case but very well constructed and solid. I don't think one can get better for the price; app. $80.00 each.
