We bought two of these to replace worn out microphones on Shure wireless body packs. Tried a $50 no name unit from that on line giant. Poor quality sound and noisy. Name brand units are twice the price and all these units eventually break. We are a church so cost conscious. Have used these for 8 months so far and very happy.

Our church uses these mics and the sound is terrific. Much better than any of the lavalier mics we have ever used. They are a little delicate and we do need to replace the adapter going to our transmitter every 6 months or so. We barely have to turn up the volume on our sound board to get the audio comng through.

I have a few dozen of these in my rental inventory. Very good value for the money. The various adapter cables for popular wireless systems are very helpful as many of the upscale options require expensive cables that are dedicated to one manufacturer. Sound quality is average but certainly usable. Build quality is high, I have never had a bad one out of the box. Yes they are delicate but they are more robust than similar value brands. Overall an absolute winner. It takes a lot more money to beat these mics.

I perform outdoor ceremonies and this mic works wonderfully in the wind. I've been using it regularly for 6 years now and it still works great!

I rent 8 of these twice a year in a kids play in a high school gym. I love them. Crystal clear child vocals, highly adjustable and comes with all adaptors.
I have absolutely no feedback issues even when I have all 8 of these live on stage at the same time. They are Omni's and not Uni's, so they are much more sensitive to feedback if speaker placement isn't correct. But I've never had any feedback issues with these. I do put the lead actors on Countryman E6's, which do have better sound quality (at 4-5x the price). However, I like the dual ear solution for kids as they tend to move and play around with the single-eared mics otherwise.
My only complaints would be that the universal adaptor makes the plug pretty tall on the body pack end. Also, the boom is pretty long, so adjusting it to fit a 10 year old, a lot of the dual ear wire loops.
And for $8 to rent for a weekend, this is hands-down the best value for when you need many mics. It beats the Line6 headset mics that come with the LIne6 rentals. I replace the Line6 rental headset mics with these ones for each of my productions.

Lots of feedback issues and very delicate. We bought two and both are not working as the connectors have come loose. Very poor quality.

How can you complain about its features, when this thing is packed? It comes with four different connectors, so right out of the box it'll plug in to Shure, Sennheiser, can't remember the others, but it's fantastic, don't even have to think about connectors! It is left ear only though, cannot change it to right ear. On the other hand, I have not had one single complaint about that from anyone yet.
The boom on this mic is pretty long though, people with tiny heads will end up with the mic too far in front of their face. But this is the exception, for most people it's OK. Fat head people will love it, because the Countryman is too short and stubby for some people.
It's certainly not the best mic on the market, it is an inexpensive Apex after all. However, through some PA systems, in some rooms, the Countryman will not beat this mic, depends on your situation. Therefore, I have determined that it's worth a shot, rent one, use it for a while and see how it works. You might be pleasantly surprised!
I use it regularly as a speaking mic in a gym, running at 70 - 75db, feedback has never been an issue. EQ-ing the mic kinda sucks, but it's not unacceptable.
Value is fantastic! $170 for a reasonably decent speaking mic that nobody complains about, has loads of connectors, and fits pretty easily, come on!

I've had mine for 2 months now. Works well for what I use it for. I use it for singing and lectures and never had any issues with it. Does take a lil bit to get used to it but works well.

if you're expecting the countrymen, its not. But it will work with any wireless kit. Has some strange characteristics, but the sound can be worked with. Would not use for vocal singing. ever. But decent and durable for typical speech. Had a presenter just dunk the capsule while drinking water, and to my surprise it is still going just fine.

No matter what transmitter it was paired with, the sound quality was low and the signal was bad. Don't know if it's a problem with the adaptor ends-tried 2 different ones and still disappointed.

Very low quality sounding especially for vocals and extreme feedback problem unless you don't use any monitors . Could possibly be used for speaking with no monitors.
