Product Experience I own it

I took a chance and tried the direct drive after a lot of deliberation, and briefly trying a Ludwig DD single pedal in-store. It is stunningly smooth and silent. It took about an hour and some tweaking of the spring tension, beater weight (options included) and beater angle to get perfectly comfortable, all of which was incredibly intuitive and simple on this pedal. The clicking-every-quarter-turn spring tensioners allow you to keep both feet set to identical tension. It is now my FOREVER pedal.
