Q & A
- asked on Feb 19, 2024

Question: Is this the power adapter for the BOSS ME-90 multi-effects guitar pedal? If so, I'm curious how it would work, considering the pedal's battery pack is 4pcs (6V) while the adapter is 9V. Normally, the battery and adapter should have the same output.

Answer: This is the recommended power supply despite the difference in voltage rating. Its circuitry likely reduces the 9V PSA voltage down to the 6V required.

Question: Is this compatible for use on a Zoom B3 Bass Effect pedal?
- asked on Dec 5, 2024
- asked on Dec 5, 2024
Answer: We recommend the ZOOM AD-16 for this unit, but the Boss could work.
The B3 would be at the very high end of it's output capability.

You can't go wrong, this is the real thing for Boss/Roland and lots of other 9v powered gear. I've used it for Ibanez and DigiTech pedals also. Just make sure it matches the requirements of your gear. Nice bright LED and 10 feet of cable is tons, top marks. It might be a 5 star product if not for the hefty price tag, and the bulk of the cable... not sure what that cocoon thing is but it's annoying. Also, they say "won't cover adjacent power outlets" but in my case that's exactly what it does.
