Question: Assuming that the speaker is sub 55 lbs, are these certified by anyone? Are they built to a safety standard? Or are these just to mount to your garage wall, and not anywhere people might be?

Answer: There isn't anyone who certifies this type of thing, but we've successfully tested them with substantially more than 55 lbs. They need to be properly mounted to the wall.
