I can't tell you how many times I flip-flopped between the 104's and these, in my CART, before finally deciding to stick with my usual 105 gauge.
I've only ever tried Rotosound flats and I didn't like them enough to keep them on my bass more than a day. From the second I opened these La Bella strings I was blown away by the texture of them - I couldn't wait to get them onto my AM J-Bass.
Smooth as silk. Like a classical guitar string for your bass. It's what I hoped for and more.
I am glad I didn't get the lighter gauge, these aren't any stiffer than my 105 roundwounds.
They sound just as advertised, I have nothing negative to say about them. Been playing nonstop since I got these strings.
