Purchased the Large 13/16" Ebony guitar slide. On first impressions, I noticed a warm tone and a light feel to the slide. I use it on my 3rd finger and the size was good. The notes from the string[s] don't sustain like a brass or glass slide does, but that's alright with me. I do own glass and ceramic slides and I can use one of those if and when I want that sound. The sound from this slide seems to have a 'damped' quality to them so this might be something you might want/like if you don't want a loudness to your playing. It's a mellower, not too harsh a sound. Great for fills when you're playing!
